Unmatched Purity for
Mission-Critical Applications
Ferro Titanium is a critical alloying agent used in steelmaking to enhance strength, reduce grain size, and improve ductility.
Our state-of-the-art induction based manufacturing process ensures the highest purity. This results in superior performance and corrosion resistance for high-stress components.
Product Forms
Quality Assurance
Our manufacturing process is ISO 9001 :2015 certified, ensuring rigorous quality control from raw material to finished product.
Every batch is tested in our laboratory using advanced XRF and ICP spectrometers to guarantee chemical purity.
We provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with every shipment, detailing the precise metallurgical breakdown of your order.
Infrastructure
Our dedicated division is equipped with multiple high-capacity induction furnaces, allowing for scalable production.
Specialized crushing and screening units deliver precise sizing according to customer requirements, from fine powders to lumps.
We operate with a commitment to sustainability, incorporating advanced fume extraction systems to minimize environmental impact.
Metallurgy
As a potent deoxidizer and grain refiner, Ferro Titanium is instrumental in producing clean, fine-grained steel with enhanced mechanical properties.
The titanium forms stable nitrides and carbides, which control grain growth during heat treatment for improved toughness and weldability.
In stainless steel, it acts as a stabilizer by binding with carbon, preventing intergranular corrosion.
ISO 9001 :2015 CERTIFIED QUALITY SYSTEM
All production batches are tested in-house to ensure consistent chemical and metallurgical parameters.

Applications by industry
How this alloy is used across the verticals we ship to in India and globally.
Automotive
Used as a deoxidiser and grain refiner in IF (interstitial-free) and HSLA steels for body panels, structural parts and forged components — improves drawability and weld toughness.
Oil & Gas
Stabilises carbides in line-pipe steels and improves resistance to sulphide-stress cracking in sour-service environments.
Railways
Grain refinement and de-nitrification in micro-alloyed rail and wagon steels — supports higher fatigue life under repeated heavy-axle loading.
Aerospace
Critical micro-alloying addition in titanium-stabilised stainless steels and superalloys used for fasteners, brackets and engine components.
Defence
High-purity grades used in armour and ballistic plate manufacture where consistent toughness and weldability are non-negotiable.
Documents
Technical and compliance documents. Batch-specific COAs are issued with every shipment.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about Ferro Titanium. For specification-grade enquiries, please request a technical sheet via the documents block above.
What is Ferro Titanium used for?
Ferro Titanium (FeTi) is an alloying addition for steelmaking. It acts as a deoxidiser, denitrifier and grain refiner, binds carbon as titanium carbide to prevent intergranular corrosion in stainless steel, and is the primary route to add titanium into clean steel and superalloy melts.
What grades and titanium ranges do you supply?
We manufacture FeTi from 30% Ti to 75% Ti. Standard grades are BB Ferro Titanium-70 (68–72% Ti), BB Ferro Titanium-40 (38–42% Ti) and BB Ferro Titanium-30 (28–32% Ti). Custom compositions can be produced on the same induction route.
What sizes and packaging are available?
Sizes range from 2–5 mm through 15–35 mm, including 5–15 mm and 10–25 mm. Packing options are 25 kg bags, 500 kg bulk bags and 1000 kg jumbo bags, with moisture-resistant inner lining for export shipments.
Is your Ferro Titanium ISO certified?
Yes — our entire ferro-alloys division operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system. Each batch is tested by WD-XRF and supplied with a Certificate of Analysis covering Ti, Al, Si, C, P, S and other tramp elements.
Can you handle export orders?
Yes. Bansal Brothers is a 2-Star Export House (Government of India) and has shipped ferro alloys to 33+ countries. Containerised exports leave from Mundra and Nhava Sheva; we handle COA, MTC, MSDS and packing-list documentation.
What is the lead time on a typical order?
Standard grades hold 200–300 MT inventory and ship within 7–10 days. Custom compositions or bespoke sizing add 2–4 weeks depending on titanium-scrap availability. Lead times are confirmed at order acceptance.
Do you supply small trial quantities?
Yes. Trial bag orders (25–500 kg) for qualification trials are available; technical support is included to help match the grade to the customer's melt practice.
